While this is not a big store, it is perfect for the items they focus on. Organic and more natural products. Dropped in to pick up some pre packed noodles, seaweed, pasta salads and vegetables. Ugh didn't take pictures, but all was delicious and made with better ingredients. However! Upon walking in, there was a whole display of pumpkin items. Anyone who knows me, knows how much I love pumpkin season. Bought 8 out of the 10 pumpkin items on display haha This place is always well stocked and clean. Staff is Always pleasant. Love shopping here
Flatbush Food Coop has become my place to shop and save, the cashiers are very friendly and knowledgeable always willing to assist and inform you of what is on sale in case you miss what's up, that being said I am sorry to see my favorite cashier Erika who is leaving to venture on a different journey, I hate to see her go, but at the same time, I wish her the best. May the Lord continue to bless her with every step that she takes.

I've lived in this neighborhood for 16 years and have been shopping at the Flatbush Food Coop since it was a smaller store across the street. Everyone has always been professional and friendly. It's a good alternative to going to Whole Foods with a large selection of organic and natural products. It seems most of these negative reviews have been during the pandemic. I don't think there is a more challenging job than working retail during the worst pandemic in American history. I've worked retail and restaurants before there was a pandemic and it was brutal. So, maybe keep that in mind and treat the people who are providing the food you need with a little more care. It's a very stressful job. I'm grateful the store is there, taking safety precautions and been open the entire time. Thank you!
